**Gibson & Co.: A Fusion of Talent and Collaboration**
Gibson & Co. brings together a remarkable lineup of musicians, each with a rich history of collaboration and individual success. Leading the band is Steve Gibson, an exceptional guitar player originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Since relocating to Saskatchewan, Canada, Steve has made a name for himself with award-winning performances and solo work with “The Steve Gibson Band.”
Steve’s journey is significantly shaped by his collaborations with Adam Breitkreuz, an accomplished producer and drummer from the band “Flood the Stone.” Adam, along with Joel Ivey and Roger Angove, has been instrumental in Steve’s musical ventures. Roger, known for his bass work with Zealand—Phil Joel’s band formerly of “Newsboys”—brings a unique edge to the group’s sound.
In addition to his work with Steve, Joel Ivey fronts his own band, “Collect Assembly,” where Steve contributes guitar work. The synergy between Steve and Joel, combined with Roger’s expert bass playing, creates a powerful musical dynamic.
The band began recording their singles at Adam’s studio, Bright Lights Music, where their work garnered attention from Hard Music Design, a sync licensing publisher. This led to a significant contract for their debut album, *Ghosts*, positioning them for broader exposure and opportunities in the sync licensing arena.
Rounding out the group’s sound is Courtney Kostur, Steve’s girlfriend and a talented banjo player. Her contributions on the banjo add a distinctive texture and depth to the band’s music.
With a blend of strong collaborations, diverse talents, and strategic industry partnerships, Gibson & Co. is set to make a notable impact with their debut album, creating a compelling and unique musical experience.
